We are a small, family business that prides itself on having a unique range of specialist skills. With a combined 20+ years of experience in marketing and B2B lead generation in a range of sectors, CEC Marketing uses its expertise to help tech companies grow their businesses.

Based in Royal Wootton Bassett, the company has grown steadily since it was founded in 2015. The team is growing as we add more services that require more specialist skills and expertise. Everyone on the team will spend time to understand your business so that they can advise you how CEC’s services in their area of knowledge will benefit your business.

Christine Cockerton

CEC Marketing was founded by a strategic marketer, Christine Cockerton. Over her 20-year marketing and lead generation career, Christine has worked with a diverse range of organisations, from small businesses to large, high-profile corporations. Although her expertise was gained over a wide range of sectors, she specialised in lead generation for technology companies – a focus that CEC Marketing retains.

Christine’s favourite marketing quote comes from Amazon’s founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos:

“If your customer base is aging with you, then eventually you are going to become obsolete or irrelevant. You need to be constantly figuring out who are your new customers and what are you doing to stay forever young.”

This embodies the ethos with which Christine runs CEC – her mission is to capture leads, engage audiences and help convert leads into sales.

Ben Cockerton

Ben began his career as a sales apprentice for a successful SAP Partner. He has since held a telemarketing role at a vendor which allowed him to bridge the gap between sales and marketing. This experience has been invaluable for CEC. As well as strong skills in B2B telemarketing, Ben’s expertise lies in managing all aspects of the data, and running the email marketing side of the business. He designs and executes the sharp, eye-catching email marketing campaigns that our clients find instrumental in building their lead pipeline.

Dominic Verrall

Dom began his B2B lead generation career in 2012. Whilst travelling in New Zealand, Dom worked at 2Evolve, a charity tele-fundraising company, on campaigns for the WWF and ChildFund. After 6 successful months, including a promotion and a handful of monthly awards, Dom returned home and attended The University of Portsmouth, graduating in 2017. Dom restarted his career at CEC in the summer of 2016, with a telemarketing internship, and has continued to perform in the role since taking on a full-time position in January 2018. Dom is approachable, brilliant on the phone, well-spoken and engages really well with prospects at all levels.
